How Kids-Friendly is Seoul Sky?

Kids enjoy the multimedia elevator, glass floor, and landmark spotting, but there is no play zone and they must stay calm near drop-off windows; queues and ear pressure can test ages under 12.

Considerations for visiting Seoul Sky (with kids)

Positives:

  • Easy Access: High-speed elevator reaches the observation deck in one minute.
  • Family Amenities: Baby care room and stroller storage are free with admission.

Challenges:

  • Height Restrictions: Children under 140 cm cannot join the Sky Bridge Tour.
  • Crowds at Peak Times: Lines form after 5 PM and on weekends; plan extra wait time.

Recommended visit duration: 2-3 hours

Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A 2-3 hour visit lets your family explore exhibits, deck and terrace without rushing or tiring the kids.

Seoul Sky is visible from the windows of my hotel room, so it was no big deal for me to make the climb to the highest vantage point in Korea's capital city. It was only a 5-minute walk and I was already buying a ticket. A little preparation, gathering the group, the arrival of security personnel and we go up on a high-speed elevator. I don't know if it would be better to visit the attraction in su...

It's a typical really tall tower. Similar to Taipei 101. A ticket gets you access to floors 117-122 and you can move freely between floors via a local elevator. There's a floor for photo ops and a glass floor, a couple floors with food options (ice cream and cafe), a floor with a giant flower, and a floor with a gift shop. No wait to go up but there was quite a wait to get back down.

Awesome experience! How they build the building, elevator ride and the multiple floors of observation are great! Loved the different displays on different floors. We got our portraits done in k-drama style. Don't forget your photos! Downfall: there was no AC & was kinda muggy inside.

Lotte Seoul Sky was just… wow. Honestly, I don’t even have the right words — the view was insane. Like standing above the whole city, floating in the sky. You can see everything — the river, the buildings, the mountains far away. It’s breathtaking. The elevator ride itself was super cool and fast, and once you reach the top, every angle is photo-worthy. It really makes you feel small in the best ...

This skyscraper is incredible! Each floor offers a unique experience, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces. The lifts are a highlight, with mesmerizing LED displays as you go up and down. Overall, it’s a fantastic visit—highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable and visually stunning adventure! A must-see attraction!
