How Baby-Friendly is Seoul Sky?

Elevators and a nursing room help, yet strollers must be parked at B1, observation decks get crowded, and parents must carry or wear the baby for up to 3 h, so visits can be tiring.

Considerations for visiting Seoul Sky (with baby)

Positives:

  • Baby-Friendly Amenities: On-site nursing rooms, changing stations, and stroller storage free with ticket.
  • Free Baby Entry: Children under 3 enter free—only adult tickets needed.

Challenges:

  • Stroller Access: Strollers not allowed on observation floors; must leave at B1 info desk.
  • No On-Site Baby Food: No dedicated baby-food menu; bring your own supplies and ask staff for hot water.
  • Elevator Waits: Peak times can have lineups for the Sky Shuttle elevator.

Recommended visit duration: 2-3 hours

Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to explore exhibits, enjoy views, and use baby facilities without rushing.

Baby-Friendly Activities in Seoul Sky

Exhibition Zone (B2–B1):

View free displays on Korean history and culture in wide corridors.

When is the best time to visit Seoul Sky?

Visit on clear winter mornings for the best visibility. In summer, go early to avoid afternoon heat and humidity on the terrace.

How to Maximize Your Visit to Seoul Sky

  1. Use a Baby Carrier: A carrier gives more flexibility than a stroller inside exhibits.
  2. Buy Tickets Online: Pre-book to skip the ticket line and reserve preferred time slots.
  3. Visit Early: Arrive at opening to avoid crowds and reduce wait times.

Seoul Sky is visible from the windows of my hotel room, so it was no big deal for me to make the climb to the highest vantage point in Korea's capital city. It was only a 5-minute walk and I was already buying a ticket. A little preparation, gathering the group, the arrival of security personnel and we go up on a high-speed elevator. I don't know if it would be better to visit the attraction in su...

It's a typical really tall tower. Similar to Taipei 101. A ticket gets you access to floors 117-122 and you can move freely between floors via a local elevator. There's a floor for photo ops and a glass floor, a couple floors with food options (ice cream and cafe), a floor with a giant flower, and a floor with a gift shop. No wait to go up but there was quite a wait to get back down.

Awesome experience! How they build the building, elevator ride and the multiple floors of observation are great! Loved the different displays on different floors. We got our portraits done in k-drama style. Don't forget your photos! Downfall: there was no AC & was kinda muggy inside.

Lotte Seoul Sky was just… wow. Honestly, I don’t even have the right words — the view was insane. Like standing above the whole city, floating in the sky. You can see everything — the river, the buildings, the mountains far away. It’s breathtaking. The elevator ride itself was super cool and fast, and once you reach the top, every angle is photo-worthy. It really makes you feel small in the best ...

This skyscraper is incredible! Each floor offers a unique experience, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces. The lifts are a highlight, with mesmerizing LED displays as you go up and down. Overall, it’s a fantastic visit—highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable and visually stunning adventure! A must-see attraction!
