Babies can ride strollers on the main gate path and rest at benches, yet lack of nursing room, diaper table, and steep upper stairs means caregivers need their own gear and should limit to lower decks.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a gentle stroller walk, rest breaks, city views, and a quick mural stroll
Stroll the paved old city wall trail:
Walk the wide, paved path from the parking-lot gate along the historic fortress wall.
Tip: Start at the Naksan-gil entrance for the gentlest slope; bring your own stroller
Rest at benches and pavilions:
Use benches and small pavilions along the route to feed or change the baby.
Tip: Plan breaks every 10–15 minutes; benches are near the first lookout
Visit lower viewing decks:
Enjoy Seoul city views from the first and second lookouts without steep stairs.
Tip: Skip the steep final peak and take family photos at lower platforms
Explore Ihwa Mural Village:
After exiting, walk 5 minutes down to colorful street art and murals.
Tip: Hold your baby securely on narrow steps or use a carrier for safety

Very pretty. Quite a hike on a hot day though but very pretty with a nice view of the city. I recommend walking up with the stairs first and walk down the long part like south to save energy

Aside from the free cardio uphill, you can also strength train with the free equipment at the park. Walk towards dongdaemun and you'll see Do Bong Soon's house near the book cat cafe

Climbing to Naksan can be quite a challenge for the senior but this place is a must visit. Its a great workout and the fresh air is very rewarding. Lovely cherry blossom trees and great view of seoul.

Not an easy climb but it's worth it!! I actually started from the 2nd observation square then walked my way down...great view of the city during sunset and into the night. So many different trails to walk around. There were a few resident cats in the area. Some cute cafes and restaurants on the way down to the city. And some provide outdoor seatings for you to enjoy the view.

Lovely spot with great views! Naksan Park is perfect for a peaceful walk, especially around sunset. The city views are amazing and the old fortress wall gives it a special charm. Not too crowded either – just the right vibe. Follow me on insta @roxana.iamandi.❤️
