A beautiful garden area which is the lovechild of the famous Bum-young Sung who was there in the information center on my visit. We were lucky enough to meet him. A must go place in Jeju Island containing a wonderful garden with many bonsai plants and visited by many famous people. This is private garden created by gentleman called Mr Sung and we had the privilege of meeting him plus his personal autograph in his book. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We got tickets off Klook for less than £7 per person which we thought was incredible value. The whole place is so thoughtfully designed, beautiful and tranquil. There are signs all around sharing wisdom, poetry and history which added to the experience. It was a very nice relaxing time. The gardens are really beautiful. They had 2 lovely koi ponds (you can buy bag of food for the for 1000 won) and many more bonsai trees, they were really amazingly large and old. This 1 is the largest bonsai I have ever seen. Also very interesting display of petrified wood; amazingly large specimens. Well worth the small admission price.
