Couples can rent hanbok, do a pottery class and stroll quiet lanes for photos, but evening lighting is sparse and on-site cafés close early, limiting extended date time.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Time to explore alleys, take photos, and join a workshop without rushing
Stroll historic alleys:
Walk under thatched roofs and along black lava stone walls
Tip: Start at the South Gate to snap photos with Dol hareubang statues
Hanbok photo shoot:
Rent traditional Korean outfits for couples portraits
Tip: Book hanbok rental early to secure matching styles and avoid queues
Pottery or cloth-dye workshop:
Create a handmade keepsake like a clay cup or tie-dyed cloth
Tip: Reserve spots at the craft center on arrival to fit your schedule
Omija tea tasting:
Sample five-flavor tea and local rice cakes at a village stall
Tip: Try rice cakes with tea for a balanced sweet and tangy snack

Nice folk village. Little cafe/shops out front. There was signage in English. Interesting stop but not a priority if short on time.
