Babies are allowed and shade shelters exist, yet there is no nursing room, paths suit strollers poorly, and hot sand forces caregivers to carry infants for long periods.
Note: Samyang Black Sand Beach is 49% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Jeju for a more suitable experience.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for shade breaks, rock exploration, and baby care without rush

Gentle shoreline stroll:

Visit early morning or late afternoon. Midday sand gets very hot. In late July, fireworks at the beach festival start after sunset—babies may be sensitive to noise and lights.

This beach had some nice black sand. Very fine and neat to look at. Not as many folks on this beach as Hamdeok beach, but it is both smaller and located much more residential. When I was there in 27 Sep 2020, there seemed to be a lot of construction around the each which is why it lost a star. Not a ton of benches or places to sit either. Had a few restaurants near by as well.

A very pretty beach with many facilities and food shops nearby.

Great beach. The black sand is so soft on your bear feet.

Highly recommended. It has nice scenery and black colour sand makes this beach special.

Black sands with seas that blend in with the horizon, and ships lighting their lamps on the horizon. Amazingly beautiful!
