What makes it 72% Baby-Friendly: Soft sand and calm shallows suit babies and strollers roll on the promenade, but lack of nursing room, no stroller rental on site, and strong sun exposure require extra planning.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for shallow water and sand play, plus short rest under shade.
Safe Shallow Water Play:
Hold your baby in ankle-deep water on the beach’s gentle slope.
Tip: Go during low tide and bring a sun hat and water shoes for extra comfort.
Soft Sand Play:
Let your baby sit or crawl on the fine-grained, soft white sand.
Tip: Pack a sand-toy set and a beach blanket to create a safe play area.
Promenade Stroller Walk:
Use the wide, level paved path behind the beach for stroller rides.
Tip: Visit early to avoid crowds and enjoy cooler morning breezes.
Parasol & Table Rental:
Rent a shaded seating area with table and chairs near the shore.
Tip: Book your parasol set upon arrival; rentals can sell out midday.
Restroom Diaper Stations:
Three toilet blocks have built-in diaper-changing benches.
Tip: Bring disposable changing pads and small towels for hygiene.
Beachfront Café Nursing Room:
Stop at nearby cafés offering free nursing spaces.
Tip: Order a drink first and ask staff to use their nursing room.

Loved this beach except there isn’t any shade so you have to bring your own. Most people with tents were respectful and set up at the back. There’s a trail on the east side to walk along.

Best beach in Jeju. Clear crystal turquoise waters and shallow waves.Scenic and iconic beach!!

The beach is neatly maintained, and is pretty huge too. Walking from one corner to the other is a task in itself. The waters are serene and peaceful. The beach has some great sand art that is photogenic. It is not that crowded too which makes it a perfect spot to spend some good quality quiet time.

Beautiful beach. White sands. I imagine it would be nicer in the warmer months when you can enjoy the water. Otherwise, there's not much to do here. Photo ops are plentiful, though.

Probably the best beach overall in Jeju. Really awesome! Perfect sand, nice clear water and great landscape to back it all. Has water sports and nice local stalls to add to the charm and also has a nice mountain trail nearby to add to the adventure. Great place for families to spend a day out. Connected well with public transport
Late spring (May–June) brings mild temps and calm water suited for baby play. In July–August, visit before 10 AM to avoid heat, crowds, and strong sun.
