Just travelled there as recommended. Very big spacious spaces and impressive building. But didn’t go into it to explore.

What a beautiful place. Everyone should come here. I'm surprised its free. It takes you on journey of how humans loved the sea, it was apart of their lives, how Koreans and others harvested sea weed and other precious things that the see has to offer. Their journey from shipbuilding, fishing and beyond.

Visited just because it seemed like a good rainy day activity but this museum exceeded my expectations. The displays here were very informative and shows the history of maritime trade and warfare of Korea. They also had 360 degree projected rooms which were nice. On the one of the floors they also had a small aquarium and a kids section.
Spring and autumn bring mild breezes along the coast—take a light jacket for the promenade. In summer, the aquarium offers a cool break; in winter, enjoy clearer harbor views with fewer visitors.
