How Baby-Friendly is Dongbaek Park?

Most loop is stroller-friendly and restrooms have at least one diaper table, yet some stairs, no nursing room, and few sheltered feeding spots lower comfort, so a carrier and planning are vital.

Considerations for visiting Dongbaek Park (with baby)

Positives:

  • Free Entry: All trails, statues and the APEC House museum have no admission fee.
  • Smooth Paths: Wide paved boardwalks make stroller use easy on most routes.

Challenges:

  • Limited Baby Rooms: No private nursing rooms—bring a cover or use nearby cafés.
  • Few Stairs Bypass: Some short stair sections require a baby carrier instead of a stroller.

Recommended visit duration: 2-3 hours

Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: A short loop with stops for photos and breaks keeps the baby happy without long walks.

Easy walk, quite a lot of stairs. Varying views along the walk. Can do a loop around the whole island.

Oh a lovely walk! Especially during a sunrise! The facilities were so well maintained and scenic, and it was enjoyable seeing so many elderly people enjoying their morning walk and stretching! If you love a good little walking trail, I highly recommend! Especially if your hotel is nearby like mine was~

It is one of the must see attractions in Busan. A mesmerizing ocean view in the midst of thick green trees, on the well laid stairs. We visited in the morning. The view of the Gwangalli bridge is awesome. Visit to APEC house, where world leaders gathered for a conference , was memorable. A minister/scholar from Silla Dynasty too visited thisbplace 100 years ago and unscripted his name in one o...

A great place to stroll or get exercise. Along the ocean the path has steps and is well lit. Options for stairs or ramps in the center of the park. An easy walk from any of Haeundae Beach hotels. We walked the park morning and night, both experiences were great. The path gets busy by 10 AM.
