On Wednesday I attended a performance with my son of "The Kings Speech". I tip my hat to all the preformers, but most definitely to the lead who played Berty. To portrait a stammer to such believable level is a credit to him. Beautiful facility that was well worth the wait.

The newly built theatre is a lovely venue. We were in the Front Room where the front seats are very low down but surprisingly comfortable. You couldn't be any closer to the performance either. The show, End of Summertime, was very well done and quite moving. Front of house pizzas before the show were nice too. All in all, excellent.

An amazing experience to attend the Court. A great example of the exciting new building rampage that's on in Christchurch at the moment. I love laminated timber constructions. Also a great show. End of the Gokden Weather...a kiwi classic. Great to see Ian Mune and Mark Hadlow still going strong.

Amazing place and the best theatre in New Zealand. Didn't see any show but went with a group of business people from Business Canterbury. Really good talent there and the costume department is very impressive. Looking forward to watching some productions here.
