What makes it 62% Baby-Friendly: Babies are admitted and accessible toilets have change tables and small breastfeeding areas, yet pram parking is unsheltered, crowd noise is very loud, and there is no dedicated quiet room.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for seating, feeding breaks, and the full match or event without rushing.
Watch a Crusaders Super Rugby match:
Experience 80 minutes of high-energy rugby at Apollo Projects Stadium.
Tip: Buy General Admission tickets early. Use the Crusaders 2-Game Pass for a free kids’ meal. Arrive 30 minutes before kick-off to stow your pram near Gate A.
Use baby-change and breastfeeding facilities:
Find gender-neutral changing rooms with baby-change tables and private breastfeeding areas.
Tip: Locate these at each end of the North Stand or behind the South Stand. Ask VŌ staff in blue vests for directions.
Reserve level-access seating:
Choose seats with ramp entry for easy pram access.
Tip: Show your Access Card at the gate. Request food delivery to your seat so you can stay with your baby.
Stroll the concourse and precinct:
Walk around the outer concourse and the Addington precinct before the event.
Tip: This open space is pram-friendly. Use it for a quick stroll or photos 20 minutes before start.

Up the Crusaders. Cheifs and Blues players will be happy to see this place go.

Have watched a Phoenix A League game and a couple of Crusaders Super Rugby games here. Good temporary stadium and reasonably easy to find a park a short walk away.

I love going to see the Crusaders play. The last time I watched them in this stadium was 2017. They went on to win 7 super rugby titles on the bounce so hopefully they can have success after this. Last minute penalty to win the game against the Blues so plenty of excitement.

Something that was supposed to be temporary has become quite permanent, and it's been a great facility for Ōtautahi, Christchurch. I can never keep up with the name of this place, but they hold sporting events and concerts here, most recently at the time of posting was Good Fighters. What a gig! Great atmosphere, amenities are good and staff were mostly pretty friendly. I'd go back!
Winter (Jun–Aug) brings winds and rain—bring warm layers and a raincover for your pram. Summer (Dec–Feb) can be sunny—pack hats and sunscreen.
