VR Auckland City (with kids)

This has been my favourite place to stay in Auckland until this stay which was bad enough I will never be staying again. Booked as a prepay and stay room back in March, when I arrived they told me they had no record of my payment. I sent them all the proof of payment and it took until after my stay yesterday to "let me know" that they finally found record of my pay. Not knowing if they were going ...

Cheaper accommodation and it rates like so. Rooms not really maintained. Ie a few things broken or not working. If you are out and about all day and just need basic place to sleep this is fine with great location. Easy access to lime scooter etc

Service was utterly horrible. As a 15 year old, having to file this complaint, it truly shows how horrible the staff were. During my stay, I had accidentally left my bag in one of the rooms, along with everything important, and on top of that; I had a flight the very same morning. as you could probably tell, I had to leave all of my bags in that room while I boarded the plane. The rooms have cards...

Decent, definitely a 2 star hotel, maybe 3 pushing it. Beds are clean and made. Floors are dirty carpets so make sure you wear socks/shoes at all times. Bathrooms have good water pressure and warmth, exposed pipes. Did not have enough towels for everyone in the room, was given two towels for a four person room. All of the glasses were dirty, some still wet or with lip marks. They were clearly not ...

Great value for money hotel. Stayed for three nights after our arrival to NZ. Room was clean, a bit smelly, but I think it has something to do with air ventilation and cooking in rooms. You can wash your clothes, you can cook. Easy check-in and checkout. Good location.
