My daughter loves it here where she regularly makes new friends. On a sunny day, such a great place to chill at.

A small reserve by a dog friendly beach and near restaurants. Good place to have a picnic, there is a boardwalk, playground and skate park. The place can be packed over summer and parking will be difficult.

Really nice, clean and tidy, with a beautiful view. Lots of cafes around too. Amazing playground.

One of my favourite beach in Auckland. So beautiful and just down the road to brilliant serenity, relaxing and nice people. Awesome bars , cafes and restaurants . Beautiful views of Rangitoto island. Only parking is a issue sometimes.
In summer, start before 9am to enjoy calm waters and avoid beachside traffic. Spring brings free MERC kayak weekends—register early. Winters offer quiet walks but chilly breezes; wear layers and windproof clothing.
