Unfortunately my stay here did not start positively. The reception who claimed his name was Zakwan (?) was rude, unhelpful and downright had VERY bad attitude. When talking to me, he blatantly refused to look at me. Booked last minute on Agoda, got it for under RM100. Arrived late but the male receptionist was welcoming. Parking is limited, but the location’s great — right in the city center. I will be staying at this hotel upon return trips to Penang. The service was excellent. I was allowed to check into my room three hours early. The add on package that I purchased did not give me much value as I typically do not use many of the amenities.
