Hotel Shangri-la Kota Kinabalu (solo trip)

Good location and very nice spacious rooms with everything you need. We just needed a comfortable place to relax before taking our flight back home. This was perfect. Good service from everyone.

Shangri La Hotel is renovating and the new rooms are lovely! The staff are super friendly, helpful and efficient. Always an upbeat cheery good morning or hello from any of the staff, housekeeping, reception, restaurant etc. Enjoyed our 3 day stay and would be happy to stay again when visiting KK.

Everything about this hotel deserves a solid 4 stars at the time of writing. I like the personal touch that the housekeeping does even for such a value hotel.
