Good indoor activity for kids. Dolphin show was particularly good, would have liked it to be slightly longer though ( 10 mins show around). Crowded across all seasons, i visited during summers and since the Dolphin show was outdoor, the wait for the show was difficult and draining. No options to eat so better carry your own snacks. Also there are discounts for folks residing or working in Shinagaw...

It's a small aquarium and it's crowded but they have many shows including a dolphin show, sea lion show and a diver swimming with the fishes and turtles in the tunnel aquarium. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and we got tickets from the vending machine without waiting in line. There's a ticket office with a person in there as well. The dolphin show was the first thing we saw and we found it very ...

Good for kids, my son enjoyed a lot especially dolphin show. Check the show timings in advance and plan accordingly. Car parking is convenient and there is huge park area outside with some ponds so you can relax if you have time especially after closing time 5PM.

Penguins even had dead fishes strewn all over the floor. Dolphins did not look happy unlike the ones I’ve seen in Nagoya. The one shark seemed really bored and laid for a long time on the tank floor. Only the otters were hy...
In spring, tour the nearby park’s cherry blossoms after your aquarium visit. In summer, arrive early to beat heat and crowds. On rainy days, check show status—outdoor performances may be delayed.
