What makes it 88% Baby-Friendly: Babies enter free and parents find nursing room, six diaper tables, elevators and stroller storage, but no stroller rental and loud show music may require breaks, so advance planning is wise.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to see main exhibits, catch a show, and use baby facilities without rush.
Dolphin & Sea Lion Show:
Watch dolphins and sea lions perform gentle tricks in a covered stadium.
Tip: Aim for the first show at 10:30 AM to avoid crowds and fit the baby’s nap schedule.
Underwater Tunnel Walk:
Stroll through a glass tunnel with rays, turtles, and colorful fish overhead.
Tip: Use the wide stroller ramp entrance to enter the tunnel smoothly.
Use Baby Facilities:
Access diaper-changing stations and a nursing room next to The Stadium.
Tip: Visit the nursing room on the 2nd floor; staff can heat bottles if needed.

Good indoor activity for kids. Dolphin show was particularly good, would have liked it to be slightly longer though ( 10 mins show around). Crowded across all seasons, i visited during summers and since the Dolphin show was outdoor, the wait for the show was difficult and draining. No options to eat so better carry your own snacks. Also there are discounts for folks residing or working in Shinagaw...

It's a small aquarium and it's crowded but they have many shows including a dolphin show, sea lion show and a diver swimming with the fishes and turtles in the tunnel aquarium. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and we got tickets from the vending machine without waiting in line. There's a ticket office with a person in there as well. The dolphin show was the first thing we saw and we found it very ...

Good for kids, my son enjoyed a lot especially dolphin show. Check the show timings in advance and plan accordingly. Car parking is convenient and there is huge park area outside with some ponds so you can relax if you have time especially after closing time 5PM.

Only the otters were hy...
The aquarium is indoors year-round. Mornings on weekdays are quieter across all seasons.
