Sapporo TV Tower. A cool landmark in the city centre. I didn’t go up, but I stopped to admire it and take some nice photos. It’s a bit odd how much it resembles the Eiffel Tower, but still a fun sight to pass by while exploring Sapporo.

My family and I as foreign tourists walked through and about this iconic TV Tower in Sapporo this evening on our way to dinner. The tower itself was a magnificent sight to behold with its imposing height, and its structure came across as a nostalgic beauty. And it was nice to see that this TV Tower was buzzing with a lot of activity at its base or ground level.

Not as tall as the Tokyo tower but if you come on a sunny clear day it’s totally worth the visit. Amazing views of the city with a beautiful background of snowy mountains and buildings. If you are in Sapporo I would really recommend checking this tower out.
