What makes it 88% Kids-Friendly: Elementary-age children can pet capybaras, ride snow tubes and try kid snowmobiles at modest cost, and staff manage risk with fences and guides, yet a few thrill attractions bar guests under 120 cm and may disappoint shorter kids.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for feeding, petting zones, and a ride on the free shuttle without tiring young children.
Kangaroo feeding in Jungle Zone:
Feed tame kangaroos from your hand using feed tokens.
Tip: Buy 100 ¥ tokens at the machine and supervise kids closely during feeding.
Snake encounter at Chinju Fureai Corner:
Hold a friendly snake with guidance from staff.
Tip: Ask staff for a smaller reptile if your child is under 6 years old.
Climb the nets in Adventure Jungle:
Explore low-level net obstacle courses built for kids.
Tip: Wear sneakers and keep children within arm’s reach on higher nets.
Shuttle to Healing Forest:
Catch the free shuttle bus to reach the forest trail and calmer animal areas.
Tip: Board at park entrance every 20 minutes; the path and shuttle are stroller-friendly.

#FreePepper Seals are social animals, typically living in large colonies. In their natural habitat, seals swim up to 50 miles a day, dive deep for food, and engage with their environment in a way that a small cage can never allow. Instead, Pepper is forced to pass her days confined in a small cage, a mere fraction of her natural habitat.

This safari is incredibly affordable and never feels overcrowded, which makes for a really enjoyable visit. Make sure to bring yen with you since most of the feeding stations only take coins. You can feed almost every animal for just 100 yen, and the bigger attractions are 500 yen with set times. There are a lot of chances to get up close and personal with the animals, which is rare at most place...

I unfortunately took the bus to the Toyotaki kaikan stop and there’s a sign saying to call the shuttle, and I didn’t pay for making calls. The website says there’s a shuttle on the weekend and holidays and summer every 15min, so I stood at the stop and waited in the sun for 50min, but didn’t see any shuttle come by. So I gave u...

The shuttle bus driver was very nice!! He fetched me when I was about to walk in due to unable to call the hotline and just nice he drove out. And also when I left he went the extra mile to fetch me to Ainu Cultural Centre at Koganeyu area. The safari was very nice. Petted and fed some animals and the capybara was very cute!!

I went just now and I would totally not recommend it. Anyone can obviously see that this is animal abuse. The birds were tied up to wooden blocks to stay all day and so were the dogs. There was barely any staff supervising and we were basically allowed to do anything we wanted, which frankly seemed a bit suspicious and casual. This is honestly such a disturbing and evil hearted place. please do no...
