This underground walkway is very useful during winter. When we first arrived at sapporo, we needed to walk on icy road from sapporo Station to our hotel at tanukikoji 狸小路. Google Map showed it takes 20 minutes' walk, but eventually, we took 40 minutes as it was very difficult to navigate on ice and snow road. Best place to buy things from pop up street vendors, garage sales, and small bazaars. Street artists provide entertainment throughout the year. In winter it's convenient to walk from Sapporo station to Susukino without getting freezed.

Nice underground passageway good for long Sapporo winters with lots of shops inside, and performance stages. Though be careful, I had my phone stolen during the performance and it was so crowded
