Although the location is good, about 3 mins walk to metro, there are too many steps in the front of main gate which is inconvenient for travelers with heavy luggage. The staffs, no matter responsible for checkin or checkout counters, were inpatient…at least the time when I checked in&out. But at least the staff at the entrance and exit of the shoe storage area were friendly. Here is also a prob...

I just went to try the hot springs because it was getting late and I was bored. I totally went on a whim with not a lot of information. I was just checking it out, but you can't even enter without paying so I decided to go ahead. The staff guy was friendly and said I had 40min until it midnight and there was an extra charge. But I paid , got my wrist band and got in. So I thought all was good. (...

This is a review of the spa only. My wife and I visited on a late Friday afternoon in May. We spent about 3 hours there. This month the men were in the Asia zone, the women in Europe. I’d say my experience was 5* whereas my wife’s was probably only 3*. For the men, there were about 14 spas / onsets / cold pools / saunas open, but in the Europe only about 4 were actually operating because of extens...

Fantastic experience, will be staying here whenever I'm in Osaka! Touristy stuff nearby is overpriced, but very close to a train station. I love how the whole hotel is no-shoes. Stayed in the new building, which was quiet and clean. No experience with the old building. The spa floors are incredible, open late, have plenty of amenities, and are very relaxing. There are a variety of pools ranging ...

I went there today and they absolutely don't allow anyone with tattoos anymore. I was there last year and I was allowed in as long as I covered it up with a patch. I have a small tattoo only. They said that they have changed the rules and no more tattoos, even if you cover it, are a tourist and not a member of Yakuza. Oh well, good thing I asked before paying the entrance fee!
In winter, the hot springs feel extra soothing after outdoor walks. In summer, aim for weekday mornings to beat the heat and crowds.
