Couples get gender-separate onsens plus shared roof pool, rentable private sauna seats, mood lighting, and varied restaurants, so a full date day is easy, but bathing apart may limit together time.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Enough time to sample both themed onsen floors, enjoy a private terrace, and relax in the bedrock sauna without rushing.
Explore Europe & Asia zones:
Soak in the 4F Roman baths and 6F Asian hot springs for two contrasting experiences.
Tip: Start in the Europe zone, then move upstairs when the Asia zone warms later in the day.
Book a Couple Seat on the Roof Terrace:
Reserve a private poolside lounge with views of Osaka’s skyline.
Tip: Book online or at the front desk early to secure evening slots.
Try the Bedrock Sauna:
Lie on heated stones to boost circulation and unwind together.
Tip: Bring a towel to sit on and sip water between sessions to stay hydrated.
Ride the Panic Tornado Slide:
Share a thrill on the 115cm-plus water slide for a quick adrenaline rush.
Tip: Visit during weekday mornings to avoid queues.
Dine at the 3F Robatayaki Osaka-ya:
Enjoy charcoal-grilled skewers and local sake in an intimate setting.
Tip: Ask for seat near the robata grill to watch chefs at work.

Although the location is good, about 3 mins walk to metro, there are too many steps in the front of main gate which is inconvenient for travelers with heavy luggage. The staffs, no matter responsible for checkin or checkout counters, were inpatient…at least the time when I checked in&out. But at least the staff at the entrance and exit of the shoe storage area were friendly. Here is also a prob...

I just went to try the hot springs because it was getting late and I was bored. I totally went on a whim with not a lot of information. I was just checking it out, but you can't even enter without paying so I decided to go ahead. The staff guy was friendly and said I had 40min until it midnight and there was an extra charge. But I paid , got my wrist band and got in. So I thought all was good. (...

I’d say my experience was 5* whereas my wife’s was probably only 3*. For the men, there were about 14 spas / onsets / cold pools / saunas open, but in the Europe only about 4 were actually operating because of extens...

Fantastic experience, will be staying here whenever I'm in Osaka! Touristy stuff nearby is overpriced, but very close to a train station. I love how the whole hotel is no-shoes. Stayed in the new building, which was quiet and clean. No experience with the old building. The spa floors are incredible, open late, have plenty of amenities, and are very relaxing. There are a variety of pools ranging ...

I went there today and they absolutely don't allow anyone with tattoos anymore. I was there last year and I was allowed in as long as I covered it up with a patch. I have a small tattoo only. They said that they have changed the rules and no more tattoos, even if you cover it, are a tourist and not a member of Yakuza. Oh well, good thing I asked before paying the entrance fee!
