Kids pay just ¥500, love the transparent escalator and colorful soda floats, yet parents must hold hands on the windy open roof and watch rail gaps, keeping suitability high but not perfect.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A 2 to 3 hour visit gives enough time to explore both decks, ride the escalator and enjoy a cafe break without rushing.
Safe Indoor Deck Exploration:
Walk behind tall glass panels on 39–40F and spot city landmarks.
Tip: Let kids press their faces to the glass and point out bridges and towers.
Lumi Sky Walk:
Stroll the open-air rooftop gallery with glowing floor lights at night.
Tip: Hold hands with young children and enjoy the breeze on the circular deck.
Color Pop Soda Float:
Order a colorful soda float with soft-serve and edible glitter at Cafe SKY 40.
Tip: Pick your kids’ favorite colors and add a heart cookie for extra fun.
Heart Lock Promise Fence:
Take photos by the fence filled with colorful heart-shaped locks.
Tip: Kids can pose in front of the locks without buying one for a fun photo.
See-Through Glass Escalator:
Ride the clear escalator from 35F to 39F for a thrilling city view.
Tip: Hold young children’s hands and enjoy the view from inside the glass tube.

Superb views of Osaka on a clear day. Cafe at the top of you want to grab a drink and enjoy the view. Outdoor observation level really gives a great feeling of the height. Cool escalator ride to and from the observation deck levels.

The best views of Osaka, better at night with all the city lights but very enjoyable at day too. You can have a drink and eat something with those great views.

I bought two tickets from Trip! Because there was a buy one get one free promotion, it was really cheap! So I highly recommend that you order online. It was really beautiful at night! I went there at the end of May, and it was still quite cold outside! You can wear white! You will find that your clothes will have a fluorescent effect at night

The place was beautiful — just make sure to go when the weather is nice! Also, a heads-up for those using the Osaka Amazing Pass: it only covers free entry before 3 PM. After 3 PM, you'll need to pay extra.

Top 20 tallest building in the world. Quick elevator ride to the 40th floor and then an escalator up to the observatory level. Doesn’t feel super high but still give you a good surrounding view of area. Grab a drink and can relax by the window. You can also take the stair up to the skywalk level. Amazing picture opportunity either by yourself or loved ones.
