This is one of my favorite aquariums in Japan. It has a wide variety of marine species. The dolphins are very cute. The show is incredible; you can see the sparkle in the children's eyes and their smiles when they see the dolphins jumping out of the water and hitting the balls high above. This was taken last Saturday. In the middle of hot weather and jam-packed visitors, my friends and I enjoyed this place. The entrance fee is 2030 for adults. A lot of different shows to choose from but the highlight of them all is the dolphin show which lasted 20 minutes. Unfortunately, some of the shows have the same time as the Beluga and Tornado sardines so we chose to watch the Beluga show ins...

Visited on a Thursday afternoon, it was not crowded at all. Actually quite impressed with this aquarium, I found it even more impressive than say the one in Osaka. Felt very wholesome, lots of variety. Not sure how this place fares on a weekend, but I'd say give it a shot if you're in Nagoya.
