What makes it 58% Baby-Friendly: Parents with babies get paved stroller paths, a diaper table and baby seat at Metasequoia Square, yet no nursing room, rental strollers or shade shelters, so visits must be short and self-supported.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: A 2–3 hour visit lets you stroll at a baby-friendly pace, enjoy pond views, and include feeding and diaper breaks without rush.
Pond-side stroller walk:
Follow the paved path around Nekogahora Pond for gentle terrain and shade.
Tip: Start near the main entrance and bring a sunshade for the stroller.
Cherry blossom rest in Sakura Garden:
Sit under low-hanging cherry blossom branches on a picnic mat.
Tip: Visit in the morning to avoid crowds and bring a light blanket.
Use Metasequoia Square facilities:
Access the multi-purpose restroom with a changing table and baby seat.
Tip: Head here first to locate amenities; facilities close by early evening.
Aquatower viewpoint:
Ride the elevator to the 40 m deck for wide park and city views.
Tip: Check stroller access in advance and choose weekdays for quieter visits.

Heiwa park has always been one of my favorite places to go to just to release stress or have time for myself. The park is very safe and peaceful. There are so many wide spaces available for fishing, for camping, or for playing sports too. The sunset view is really nice here!

Really beautiful place, there is a decent size lake where you can fish. There is also several smaller parks with many thinks kids would like. o like coming her for my morning run as even in the summer this place is cool. Also it’s is really beautiful in spring too because of the cherry blossoms.

Really great place experience Sakura. Bus 11 stops in a middle of the two park. There is a large fishing lake also just 200m away. Vending machines available, public toilets also. This place has a far more Sakura three than Tsurumai Park and a way more space. Lot of people but lot of space as larger park. Recommend Highly!

Love this place. Easy to go to with bus just a bus ride from the train station or a 1.5km walk. Few crowd, tons of cherry blossom, nice place to spend time with family.
Late March–early April: enjoy 1,500 cherry trees in bloom and pack a blanket. Avoid weekends. In summer, stick to shaded trails by the pond to stay cool.
