Parents with babies get paved stroller paths, a diaper table and baby seat at Metasequoia Square, yet no nursing room, rental strollers or shade shelters, so visits must be short and self-supported.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a slow stroller-friendly walk, rest breaks, and playground stops without rushing.
Stroll by Nekogahora Pond:
Walk on paved paths beside the lake under shady trees.
Tip: Bring a lightweight stroller and a sunshade for the baby.
Sit in Sakura Garden:
Relax on a picnic mat among low-hanging cherry blossoms.
Tip: Lay down a soft blanket and bring a nursing cover if needed.
Play at Metasequoia Square Playground:
Let the baby enjoy small swings and spring riders.
Tip: Use the nearby multipurpose restroom for diaper changes afterward.
Short loop near Peace Park Kaikan:
Follow a flat 500 m path close to restrooms.
Tip: Stop at the Kaikan for a snack and comfort break.
Visit the Aquatower Observation Deck:
Ride the elevator up for a 40 m view.
Tip: Check with park staff about stroller access before visiting.

Heiwa park has always been one of my favorite places to go to just to release stress or have time for myself. The park is very safe and peaceful. There are so many wide spaces available for fishing, for camping, or for playing sports too. The sunset view is really nice here!

Really beautiful place, there is a decent size lake where you can fish. There is also several smaller parks with many thinks kids would like. o like coming her for my morning run as even in the summer this place is cool. Also it’s is really beautiful in spring too because of the cherry blossoms.

Really great place experience Sakura. Bus 11 stops in a middle of the two park. There is a large fishing lake also just 200m away. Vending machines available, public toilets also. This place has a far more Sakura three than Tsurumai Park and a way more space. Lot of people but lot of space as larger park. Recommend Highly!

Love this place. Easy to go to with bus just a bus ride from the train station or a 1.5km walk. Few crowd, tons of cherry blossom, nice place to spend time with family.
