We enjoyed our stay at the Chapter. The hotel acknowledged my Bonvoy status and offered an upgrade to a bigger room which we greatly appreciated. While the hotel did not have a concierge, they happily supported us with all our reservation requests. The hotel is well located near the shopping district in Kyoto.

I was really surprised how this hotel received 4 starts. The most impressive about it is a lobby. Room we were given had no windows (if you count as a "window" frosted glass panes). Nowhere to stow luggage (like literally no space for luggage). Shower of the size of the bathroom, where I had to be pinned in the corner to close the door.
