We had an interesting stay here. The room was actually bigger than we expected, and it came with a microwave, hair dryer, fridge, and a small table. It is a wonderfully located hotel that is at a walking distance from some of the famous Kyoto landmarks, as well as Nijo Station. Absolutely shocking experience. Do not stay here. Checked out at 10am because the room i booked was different than the one i stayed at the night before. I opened my breakfast in the lobby and was immediately told by the receptionist that there is no eating or drinking in the lobby. I closed my container. I asked if they have a kitchen. No. Do they have a rooftop? No. Then an other guest (japanese)...

There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, and 7-11 just next to the hotel. The rooms are by far the most spacious and best room we’ve stayed in, than the hotels in Tokyo & Osaka. Due to the strict policies of the hotel, the reception staff are unable to accommodate requests. They do not provide Yamato( baggage service) but that can be done at the 7-11 next to the hotel.

Room: clean enough. Not well vacuumed/bit dusty but it was totally fine. Service: incredibly polite. Kept my bags for 4 hours before my check in. Very helpful in everyday.
