Four Points Flex by Sheraton Kyoto Oike (solo trip)

Overall we are satisfied with our 3 night stay in this hotel. What we missed was the possibility to rent a bike from the hotel and a storage to keep the rental bikes during the night. This service would be beneficial for many guests in the future as the hotel is not in the center of the top attractions. Thank you

The hotel is really well located, short 9 min from the subway station. Staff are super nice, welcoming and helpful. Facilities are un great shape. Only thing that took 1 star away was that rooms are uncomfortable because 1. The bathroom is Super tiny and 2. the AC is in Japanese. We arrived late one night and we could not figure out how to turn the AC on. The next day I had to use Google translate...

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The location is AMAZING—within walking distance of metro stations, the river, shopping areas, and even Gion (totally doable if you enjoy walking). The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is kind and efficient. I would definitely recommend staying here, and if I ever come back to Kyoto, I’ll choose this hotel again without a doubt!
