The hotel is really well located, short 9 min from the subway station. Staff are super nice, welcoming and helpful. Facilities are un great shape. Only thing that took 1 star away was that rooms are uncomfortable because 1. The bathroom is Super tiny and 2. the AC is in Japanese. This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The location is AMAZING—within walking distance of metro stations, the river, shopping areas, and even Gion (totally doable if you enjoy walking). The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is kind and efficient. I would definitely recommend staying here, and if I ever come back to Kyoto, I’ll choose this hotel again without a doubt!
