Very nice calm and quite. Rooms looks slightly outdated but very clean and cozy. Stuff is responcible and helpful Buffet breakfast very tasty.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the front desk service I experienced at your hotel on the evening of April 17, around 8:15 PM. During check-in, a female staff member at the front desk displayed a very poor attitude. Her English pronunciation was quite unusual, which made it difficult for us to understand her clearly. The service/staff here is great, the room is outdated could use renos. The bed is really hard, biggest down fall. I could not sleep all night, tossed n turned. We had to check out early and find another hotel during this busy blossom season. The staff was only able to refund us for 1 night out of the 3. But it's understandable. There is no safe in rm and limited plugs.

I can't honestly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto for a holiday. The room I stayed in was very dated, very basic, very worn, and had minimal to no natural light. The tiny window looked immediately out to another concrete wall and it felt a little like a jail cell, if I'm honest.
