Saw the current Kusama exhibition. Incredible. We bought our tickets online, same day, and had no wait.

It was such an honor to visit KYOCERCA Museum of art. What a gorgeous exhibition. I’ve always wanted to see Yayoi Kusama and I finally had the privilege of doing so. Absolutely stunning. Kyoto is a brilliant city.

Visited for Monet’s works. There were more pieces than I expected. However, photos are only allowed in one area, which includes just a few paintings. There’s also a shop at the end with lots of souvenirs.

"You must know I'm entirely absorbed in my work. These landscapes of water and reflections have become an obsession. It's quite beyond my powers at my age, and yet I want to succeed in expressing what I feel. I've destroyed some... I start others... and I hope that something will come out of so much effort" ---Claude Monet wrote to his friend Gustave Geffroy in 1908

We went to see the Claude Monet exhibition which was really stunning. So much to offer and so much to see. We also walked around the lovely grounds and pond behind the museum which had wisteria and fish. A really peaceful place and clearly hosting serious exhibitions and serious artwork. Would love to come back and highly recommend it as an activity with family or friends or couples.
