We had a lovely stay at the Fujiya Hotel! This was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous. We loved the views from the breakfast room in the main dining hall. The onsen spa was amazing. Our room was very spacious and the service was top notch. This is a beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully appointed and you can bathe in the hot spring water in the privacy of your own bathroom if you choose not to use the onsen . The only criticism is the hardness of the beds, they were very uncomfortable.

Did not stay here, but have to give a shout out to the wonderful staff who went above and beyond when my husband and I took the wrong bus going the wrong direction of our hotel at night. We stopped in asking for a telephone, and the intern (very sweet polish gal with perfect English), communicated with the other staff, who then they called our hotel to postpone our dinner, called a taxi (none avai...
