What makes it 70% Baby-Friendly: Most paths accept strollers and an accessible toilet has a diaper table, yet no nursing room, no stroller rental, and mainly outdoor benches require parents to plan feeding, shade, and gear in advance.
This place may be temporarily closed. Please check official sources before visiting.
Why 1 hour visit duration is ideal for with baby: The loop takes about 60 minutes, fitting baby’s routine with time for breaks.
Stroll on stroller-friendly boardwalks:
Roll through wetlands on wide wooden paths that handle most strollers smoothly.
Tip: Bring your own stroller; slopes are gentle and paths are mostly boardwalk.
Rest at covered benches:
Use the spaced benches for feeding or diaper changes amid quiet nature spots.
Tip: Bring a change mat and sunshade since there’s no indoor nursing room.
Browse baby-friendly souvenirs:
Shop seed packets or small toys at the entrance gift shop.
Tip: Expect prices around ¥200–¥500 for keepsakes safe for infants.

Beautiful and relaxing walk in nature. Feels like being in Princess Mononoke in real life. We saw lots of fish in the water. We loved this.

Beautiful and unique botanical garden. Well signed, science focused, and very peaceful. I look forward to visiting again in a different season.

Loved this place! It was so beautiful with lots of birds and lizards. The wildflowers were stunning in the natural scenery. There was a fantastic carnivorous plant exhibit while I was there. You can spend a lot of time exploring the environments. Great if you love nature and plants. The store has some cute merch and good soft serve.

If you’re into plants or nature person, then recommend! Depending on the season, there are different flowers blooming. They have few carnival plants, which was cool. Entrance 700 yen.

Went during light shower rain but that made it even better! Staff were kind, ticket buying process was easy, you can park in the car park nearby for free. Not many flowers when I went, but you see many crawdads, a carnivorous plants section, and can walk around 7 more sections of different themes(swamp, wetlands etc). There is a little shop there too for cute bits and bobs.
Mid-May to June brings bright iris and primrose blooms along the stroller paths — perfect for colorful baby photos.
