the b hakata (couple trip)

A very budget hotel. Don't expect mid-tier level. Room are small, suitable for solo travellers / business trip. Within walking distance to main station, convenience stores and shopping malls.

The room is a typical room in Japan, which is quite small. I booked a non-smoking room for 3 nights but the room was still filled with strong smoking smell in the first two days I stayed. In addition, the bed in that room had bugs on it that made me felt itchy too. Thank you for the staff arranging another room to me after I reported the issues to her.

Very good hotel the only the air-conditioning is not really cold. 3ppl in a room seem spare quite limited. Overrall good.

3.6 “Very itchy every night” I stayed there for 8 nights. When I checked in , I was told that our room would be cleaned only every three days. I told the staff that we have a kid and my parents are old, and a lot of viruses were around so i wish our rooms could be cleaned every day like the normal hotel standard. Easy check-in, I was able to borrow an umbrella. Rooms are a bit older but still nice. Mini fridge, kettle/cups. Pyjamas and other amenities provided. Towels replaced every day. 10-minute walk to hakata station, close to multiple temples. Family mart on the corner. Could be a bit cleaner. The carpet was definitely not hoovered.
