This hotel is an amazing place to stay. The view from the balcony and outside is lovely, with Lake Shoji looking beautiful and being close, the Aokigahara Forest adding onto the amazing scenery and the lava-cooled land adding onto the unique scenery, and Mt. Fuji itself being the main highlight of the scenery—beautifully completing the unique and distinct scenery that barely other hotels can match...

The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. Great and warm service including a welcome drink, free simple breakfast with the owner there to greet and guide you throughout. The views from the traditional Japanese rooms are perfect, right on the water plus a rooftop viewing area. The restaurant was great too with a small but delicious menu. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

Among all the p...

The air conditioning was good but unnecessary as we visited during the autumn an...
