The view from the balcony and outside is lovely, with Lake Shoji looking beautiful and being close, the Aokigahara Forest adding onto the amazing scenery and the lava-cooled land adding onto the unique scenery, and Mt. The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. Great and warm service including a welcome drink, free simple breakfast with the owner there to greet and guide you throughout. The views from the traditional Japanese rooms are perfect, right on the water plus a rooftop viewing area. The restaurant was great too with a small but delicious menu. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

The hotel staff was incredibly kind. My boyfriend and I don't speak any Japanese, but we translated on our phones which worked great!
