How Baby-Friendly is Pantheon?

64%Baby-Friendly
View Map

What makes it 64% Baby-Friendly: Parents with a stroller enter step-free and show baby the light from the oculus, but the absence of changing tables, toilets, and quiet nursing space forces very short, carefully timed stays.

Reviews4.8/ 5
(from 263,520 reviews)

Positives:

  • Stroller-friendly interior: Step-free marble floor makes it easy to move a stroller inside.
  • Free entry: No admission fee leaves more budget for food or transport.

Challenges:

  • No baby-care facilities: No changing stations or nursing rooms inside requires exiting for diaper changes.
  • Cobblestone approach: Surrounding streets are uneven; a baby carrier or robust stroller helps.

Absolutely stunning and so impressive inside! Some of the information really helped join other pieces of history we were learning together. Only €5 to get in, you don't need to prebook you can queue for the ticket office and go straight in, we only waited about 15 minutes.

Definitely a spot you do not want to skip out on. The structure is incredible but I would either buy the tickets online to skip the line unless you decide to get here super early anyways. During the day it gets super crowded and would recommend coming here early morning to get solo pictures. Cool fact is that this door is one of the oldest doors that is still standing in rome.

We just did a walk by today as we didn't have much time. We will be back for a more thorough visit next week. Like a lot of Rome, it continues to amaze us that these structures are still standing after so many years and are just wonderful to see!

This is a must visit when in Rome. Take the opportunity to walk where the emperors of Rome, this building is so old yet it is absolutely stunning. Please book your tickets in advance, and as it is a religious site can’t show your shoulders and no clothes above the knees. Getting the audio guide is also recommended as it is one of the better ones with decent voice acting and it’s also very informat...

One of the oldest buildings to stand the test of time. It's best to make reservations ahead of time. Careful though to arrive on the day and time of your ticket. They enforce the time slot. There is also the opportunity to buy a ticket at a CASH ONLY register. There is a line, but once they open it up, it moves fast.
