What makes it 70% Baby-Friendly: Babies are welcome, strollers and a changing table exist, and quiet lobby seating helps rests, yet lack of nursing room, loud echoing spaces, and no baby activities mean extra planning for parents.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to see main installations, rest in lobby, and take a café break with your baby.
Self-guided tour of permanent installations:
Wander through the Shed and Navate halls to view Anselm Kiefer’s monumental works.
Tip: Use the stroller priority line and fold pram briefly where artworks need clear space.
Lobby rest area with free Wi-Fi:
Sit on lobby benches to feed or rest your baby.
Tip: Ask staff for a folding chair and use free Wi-Fi to entertain older siblings.
Café break at Iuta Bistrot:
Enjoy a snack in a calm setting
Tip: Bring your own travel seat—high chairs are not provided. Café open Thu–Sun, 10:30–22:30.
Baby care at Info Point:

Tip: Ask staff for directions to the accessible restroom near the Info Point.

I was not expecting to be swooped off my feet by how good "This will not end well" exhibit is. Aside from that, space is gigantic and I just love how it makes art accessible to all. It also seemed to have quite an interesting area for kids.

By far the best place we visited in Milan. An enormous industrial space turned into a modern art gallery that can house large scale art installations. Interesting and thought-proviking pieces were on display. The building itself is also awesome, the inner units are cleverly organised and the staff is prepared and kind. There is a really nice "bistrot" in the building, which is also worth a visit. ...

Free admission, but tickets must be booked online. Located next to the mall, this art exhibition is a hidden gem that's definitely worth a visit!!

This gallery was so impressive and amazing! It is so big, almost overwhelming. They have huge art installations and yet it still feels spacious and calm. By far one of the best and most beautiful galleries I ever got to visit!
The museum is fully indoor and heated in winter. In summer the halls stay cool. Check Iuta Bistrot hours on weekends.
