What makes it 85% Kids-Friendly: Children up to 12 get two playgrounds, wide lawns for ball games and the seasonal Trennolandia inflatables, so boredom is unlikely. Parents should note standard toilets lack child-size fittings.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for playground fun, a picnic, bike ride and games without rushing younger kids.
Playground fun:
Two playgrounds with slides and swings suit ages 3–10.
Tip: Bring a ball or chalk for added games on the rubberized surface.
Picnic and meadow games:
Wide lawns perfect for flying kites, throwing a Frisbee or a family picnic.
Tip: Pack a blanket and easy-carry snacks; use shaded spots under trees.
Family bike ride:
Cycle together on a flat 4 km paved loop.
Tip: Rent via BikeMi (day pass €4.50 per adult, first 30 min free) and download the app before arrival.
Lawn bocce or mini football:
Try bocce on grass greens or kick a small football with the kids.
Tip: Bring your own bocce set or a light football to share.
Snack break at kiosks:
Two kiosks inside the park sell drinks and simple snacks.
Tip: Budget around €2–€3 per drink and €4–€5 per snack item.

It's wonderful to walk in this park that distances you from the city, clean and frequented by people of all ages!

Definitely the best park in Milan for sports. There are tennis courts, volleyball courts, American football courts, soccer courts, beach volleyball courts, ping pong courts, and even some small areas with pull-up bars and other fitness equipment. Of course, everything is free, as it's a public park. Ample space for any type of activity, a rare find in Milan, and well-connected by public transport.
In spring and summer bring sunscreen and hats. In September–October join free botanical walks by GEV volunteers (meet at Via Novara kiosk at 10 AM). After rain, wear waterproof shoes as paths can be muddy.
