What makes it 74% Couple-Friendly: Art Nouveau facade, glass tunnel and free-with-ticket temporary shows offer a charming 2-hour shared visit, yet absence of café and early closing reduce its suitability for a longer date.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Allows time for the main exhibition path, a behind-the-scenes tour, and a relaxed walk around the building.
Follow the self-guided exhibition path:

Tip: Pick up the map at the entrance and pause at each water-cycle exhibit panel.
Admire Art Nouveau architecture:

Tip: Photograph the Neptune statue from the park outside then enter to see the interior details.
Join a behind-the-scenes tour:
Get a 30-minute guided look at the filtration and life-support systems.
Tip: Reserve your free spot online at least a week before your visit.

Free on the first Sunday of the month! The sights may be few, but the atmosphere is excellent..quiet and inspiring. So if you are passing by, come and take a look 🐟🐠🪸

We had lots of fun, as I was with 5 kids and it wasn't crowded. Still this is a small place and isn't an attraction. If you are around drop by. Not more.

Not so big, but nice to see. Valuable for money, 10 EUR for 2+2 family. 30 minutes visit.

Nice small aquarium in the park for kids. One circle round of fish could probably completed in an hour. The fish are mainly from the nearby areas. The Milan card can also be used.

I really enjoyed all the fish and anemome that were part of the exhibit. I think the stingrays might have been my favourites but each fish was special in its own way. I recommend going, especially if you have children. The exhibit isn't that big so depending on you interest, the visit can take you anywhere from 40 minutes to an 1h and a half.
Check the aquarium’s calendar for Christmas and summer events like MITLANTIDE. Plan a weekday afternoon in summer to skip queues and enjoy cooler indoor temps.
