What a great location… only steps to the train station and a short walk to city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the cafe, drinks at the bar while waiting for our train and breakfast in the restaurant area. The interior spaces were simply beautiful. The beds were comfortable. Wifi was a bit slow, but overall I would certainly recommend Eyre Square Hotel.

Overall the hotel was very nice. Based on a conversation I overheard between the front desk and another guest, it appears that they are renovating some rooms. I believe the one I was on was renovated because it had AC. Overall the room was nice and the location was great. The only reason I have it four stars instead of five was because my room, like other reviews I read, smelled faintly of cooking...

Spent 3 nights at the hotel in August. The room was clean but maybe a little small. Bed very comfortable. Hospitable bar to return to after a day’s activity, very pleasant bar staff. Breakfast excellent again with friendly staff. The hotel is in a great location adjacent to the train station, easy walking to the bus station and close to restaurants and bars.
