Eyre Square Hotel (with baby)

What a great location… only steps to the train station and a short walk to city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the cafe, drinks at the bar while waiting for our train and breakfast in the restaurant area. The interior spaces were simply beautiful. The beds were comfortable. Wifi was a bit slow, but overall I would certainly recommend Eyre Square Hotel.

Great location. AMAZING staff. The design choices tho make me think a blind toddler made them. The bathroom specifically. The shower is 3/4 enclosed (not uncommon in Europe). The second you turn the shower on the entire bathroom flood. Maybe this room isn't leveled correctly!? I don't know. But also, why in the hell would the towels be INSIDE the shower? They get soaked when... Wait for it... The ...

Overall the hotel was very nice. Based on a conversation I overheard between the front desk and another guest, it appears that they are renovating some rooms. I believe the one I was on was renovated because it had AC. Overall the room was nice and the location was great. The only reason I have it four stars instead of five was because my room, like other reviews I read, smelled faintly of cooking...

Spent 3 nights at the hotel in August. The room was clean but maybe a little small. Bed very comfortable. Hospitable bar to return to after a day’s activity, very pleasant bar staff. Breakfast excellent again with friendly staff. The hotel is in a great location adjacent to the train station, easy walking to the bus station and close to restaurants and bars. We would definitely return to the hotel...

the hotel was a good choice for the one night i stayed. The location is good for what i needed. It is located close to the bus station. I caught a very early express bus to the dublin airport. Room was comfortable.
