Two golfers can share an 18-hole round, hire a buggy, and enjoy bay-view dining, creating a relaxed joint outing, but non-golf couples may feel the site lacks varied entertainment.
Why 3-4 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Playing a full round, using practice facilities, and enjoying a drink takes about 3–4 hours
Play the 18-hole Parkland Course:
Tee off at the Par 70, 5,974 m championship layout.
Tip: Book your tee time online to secure your preferred time and arrive 30 minutes early to warm up.
Practice at the short-game area:
Use the putting green, driving nets, and indoor swing room.
Tip: Start with a 15-minute putting session to dial in your stroke before heading out.
Walk the seaside holes:
Stroll along holes 1–4 for fresh sea air and panoramic bay views.
Tip: Use the underground tunnel under the road for safe, direct access and photo ops.
Relax in the Bar & Dining Room:
Enjoy 180° views over Galway Bay with cosy fireside seating.
Tip: Order a local craft beer or coffee and take in the sunset by the window.
Summer weekends book up fast—reserve tee times weeks in advance. Winter play can be windy and wet—bring windproof layers and check course status.

Had a lovely lunch here today with my Mother. And a very special thanks to the lovely staff in the restaurant who went out of their way to accommodate us, as my Mother has serious mobility issues over the past year. We like to take her here these days for the food, ambiance, views and great staff.

One of the finest courses on the west coast of Ireland. Not long, but challenging. The club house of fantastic and has a great menu. You will not leave hungry.

Course was in great condition. Lovely lay out of challenging mid length holes. Wind blows on first 4 and gets blocked off a bit starting at 5. Great North Atlantic golf experience.

Lovely course. A bit tough so bring plenty of golf balls. Got beer delivered to the 10th tee box. Plensent staff.
