If you're looking for a quintessential Dublin experience, Temple Bar is it. This iconic pub, dating back to 1840, is packed to the rafters with tourists, known for its electric atmosphere, daily live music, and Ireland’s largest whiskey collection. We had a Guinness which I swear tasted better than anywhere else, followed by a couple of Jameson whiskeys.

Can’t not go here whilst visiting Dublin. Price obviously high but to be expected but great vibe! If you want to go when it’s quiet I’d recommend before midday! Service a little slow despite how quiet it was but not too long thankfully! 🇮🇪

I visited the famous Temple Bar pub in Dublin and it was a great experience. The Guinness was excellent, and the live music added to the lively atmosphere. The place is very busy both inside and outside, so be prepared to stand rather than sit, but that’s part of the fun. Overall, a lively spot and definitely worth checking out if you’re in Dublin.

Temple Bar might be a tourist trap, but it's a good one! The atmosphere is fantastic. We had a great time enjoying the live music and grabbing some excellent snacks. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a 14 hour layover in Dublin and had to come here for a pint! It was very lively and busy, but I didn’t have to line up to get in. It was also during the Oasis comeback, so some of the songs were spot on. I was solo and it was easy to meet others and chat. I’m sure other reviews will say this but the drinks are pricier than other places, but they don’t charge a cover. Overall I had a good time ...
In summer, enjoy pints in the outdoor garden. On festival days like St. Patrick’s Day, arrive early to beat crowds.
