Positives:

  • Solo-friendly pubs: Pub gardens and craft venues welcome lone visitors and encourage mingling with locals.
  • Complimentary events: Free music and dance in the square let you join cultural shows at no cost.

Challenges:

  • Uneven ground: Cobblestone streets can be slippery; wear sturdy shoes.
  • Evening crowds: Pubs fill quickly after 5 pm; expect to wait for a seat if unbooked.

Everything was perfect. The drinks, the atmosphere, and the live singers. This is the place I would recommend visitors and locals to enjoy live music. Christmas decorations was also up in November! Do note that you have to secure your own table before ordering at the bar counter.

We were shocked to walk in (just before Halloween/Samhain) and see the place already decked out for Christmas. Had a drink to say we did, not as expensive as people say, listened to the live music for a bit then left! Definitely busy but worth it for the atmosphere! Friendly Staff!

During my visit in October, this was one of the most enjoyable bars I went to, beautifully decorated with a Christmas theme. When we went, it was absolutely packed we had a hard time getting inside, but that didn’t stop us. While ordering a pint at the bar, I met two Irish ...
