This café-bar offers free Wi-Fi, record browsing, live music and easy bar chat, giving a solo guest varied ways to pass time; late-night noise and alcohol focus slightly reduce suitability.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for solo trip: Long enough to grab a coffee, browse records and catch a live set without rushing.
Daytime café workspace:
Order a specialty coffee or snack and use the free Wi-Fi on the curved leather couches.
Tip: Arrive mid-morning to claim a seat near a power outlet.
Vinyl browsing:
Explore the in-house record shop for new and second-hand vinyl.
Tip: Ask staff about rare finds or local artists.
Evening live music:
Drop in for DJ sets or local bands with no cover charge.
Tip: Check the weekly schedule online to pick quieter weeknights.
Meet locals at the bar:
Sip a craft beer or Irish coffee on the terrace or in the snug lounge.
Tip: Strike up a chat by asking for a local gig or bar recommendation.
Stand-up comedy night:
Enjoy CoCo Comedy Club shows most Wednesdays through Saturdays (tickets €8–€10).
Tip: Book tickets online in advance for the best seats.
Use the terrace on warm summer evenings. On rainy days, head inside early to grab one of the few window seats.

What a lovely spot to stop in at on a day floating around cork city. Stopped in for few pints, great spot outside to watch the world go by, relaxed atmosphere. Inside was beautiful. Pints so fresh and ladies serving drinks were friendly.

We had a lovely time here at The Roundy over the bank holiday weekend. Great drinks, relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were nice and welcoming. We will certainly make a habit of returning here when in Cork city.

Very nice bar and the staff were very friendly, as you'd expect from Cork people. Sit outside - it's great for people watching. There's a good mix of ages and nationalities there too. Bring a jacket with you because it can get a little chilly if there's a breeze - or maybe that's just the age I'm at! But let's not talk about my age here - just know that it's a sensitive subject. :-)

Really nice pub, could spend a few hours there and have a nice time. Didn't have food and was there for a comedy show.
