Children up to 12 can finish the 4–5 km return walk and try paid swings, but no guardrails, toilets, or shaded rest spots mean parents must supervise closely and carry extra water.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows a relaxed pace with kids, photo stops, and a snack break.
Short Family Ridge Walk:
Follow the 2.6 km paved path round-trip at a slow pace.
Tip: Start at Pura Gunung Lebah and pause frequently for photos and rest.
Rice Field Swing:

Snack Break at Warung Bukit Sari:
Enjoy local nasi goreng or fresh fruit juices.
Tip: Budget IDR 30,000–50,000 per meal; use its toilets before the next leg.
Pool and Play at Alam de Ubud:
Buy a day-pass for the kids’ pool, swings, and play area.
Tip: Day-passes cost around IDR 150,000 per person; includes a drink.

Not Worth It If You’re Hoping for Views This walk was really unnecessary if you want to see something along the way. It’s just a walking street next to some trees and bushes until you reach a small village. For us, it felt like a waste of time because we hoped to see some nice views, but there weren’t any. If you want to get to the village for food or something like that, then you can do this li...

Very beautiful, it's calm and quiet. There are some beautiful cafes along the road too. Looks like the exchange stores have better rates as well. Highly recommended

The tiles are uneven and you could easily trip and sprain an ankle. Some light uphill/ downhill sections. We started from the end of the trail and it was hell. The street at the start of the trail has beautiful scenery before you enter the trail with very cute cafes. But be warned you can’t call a grab, they don’t want online taxis in their area. Only local taxis.

Really nice little trail. Very easy walk with a little elevation. The path is very easy to find and very well taken care of. Parking is plenty full for scooters. Just drive if the main road and down the hill you’ll find parking platforms. Great walk to end up in som rice fields.
