Couples enjoy romantic sunrise light, quiet path, and rice-field cafés at the far end, yet the walk lacks evening lighting and midday shade, so heat can reduce comfort.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Allows time to complete the walk with photo stops and a café break.
Sunrise or Sunset Ridge Walk:
Walk the ridge trail at dawn or dusk for soft, golden light.
Tip: Arrive 30 minutes before sunrise at the southern entrance to beat crowds.
Self-guided Couples’ Photoshoot:
Use the grass-lined ridge as a natural backdrop for your photos.
Tip: Bring a tripod or ask a fellow walker to snap shots on your phone.
Café Date at Karsa Kafe:
Enjoy views over rice fields at the trail’s north end.
Tip: Try fresh coconut water and all-day breakfast on the open terrace.
Pack-Your-Own Picnic:
Pause at a scenic spot for sandwiches, fruits, or trail mix.
Tip: Carry reusable containers and leave no trash behind.

Not Worth It If You’re Hoping for Views This walk was really unnecessary if you want to see something along the way. It’s just a walking street next to some trees and bushes until you reach a small village. For us, it felt like a waste of time because we hoped to see some nice views, but there weren’t any. If you want to get to the village for food or something like that, then you can do this li...

Very beautiful, it's calm and quiet. There are some beautiful cafes along the road too. Looks like the exchange stores have better rates as well. Highly recommended

The tiles are uneven and you could easily trip and sprain an ankle. Some light uphill/ downhill sections. We started from the end of the trail and it was hell. The street at the start of the trail has beautiful scenery before you enter the trail with very cute cafes. But be warned you can’t call a grab, they don’t want online taxis in their area. Only local taxis.

Really nice little trail. Very easy walk with a little elevation. The path is very easy to find and very well taken care of. Parking is plenty full for scooters. Just drive if the main road and down the hill you’ll find parking platforms. Great walk to end up in som rice fields.
