Babies are allowed, but narrow doorways, steps, no stroller rental, no nursing room and no diaper tables make the visit tiring; parents must bring a carrier and portable changing pad.
Note: Bali Museum is 35% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Bali for a more suitable experience.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to visit four galleries, rest in gardens, and accommodate baby’s pace.
Explore the four pavilions:
Walk through the Tabanan, Karangasem, Buleleng, and Timur galleries to see masks, sculptures, textiles, and archaeological finds.
Tip: Use a baby sling to navigate narrow doorways and move at your baby’s pace.
Relax in shaded courtyards:
Sit on benches under lush trees and let your baby rest or nap.
Tip: Bring a portable changing mat and nursing cover for quick breaks.
Photo at the ornate gate:
Snap family photos by the red-brick Candi Bentar entrance.
Tip: Visit early to avoid crowds and catch soft morning light.

Really good place to visit if you are really interested in learning about other countries culture. Not much commercial activities, peacefully you can learn about Balinese culture

A beautiful museum in itself. It provides detailed information about Bali and its history in a small space. However, it is quite hot despite the air conditioning. In addition to the entrance fee of 100k, it happened (at least to me) that I was given a guide without being asked. He then started to guide us through the museum more badly than right. I was just here to accompany my son's excursion with his classmate. I didn't go inside to see the museum. But I looked around public areas and was very impressed to see how clean it is. Please keep up the good work!

It is a good museum but only got four stars because it's not a great museum. The big draw is the architecture of the buildings, as the displays in the four buildings are actually quite minimal. I'm glad I went and would recommend going, but it is not extensive.

He charged us 40 000 rupiah for the clothing then another 100,000 to hear his basic knowledge of his own religion. This is a scam , avoid them and tell them no . If they heckle you just walk...
