Very good. Being indoors was a bonus so you're not in the sun! Found out afterwards that you can buy a ticket which includes the museum in Fira but the cost isn't too much when buying separately. Staff were very friendly. Unfortunately when we visited we were not able to walk between the ruins due to the earthquakes earlier in the year and the possibility of more but still an amazing visit.

It was a very nice and different activity to do in Thera. Well kept and interesting exhibits. Nice building overall. If you are a uni student in Greece, you can enter for free or if you are 25 and under. Great place!

Very nice exhibition. You can see and try to imagine how life in ancient Greece looked like. Exhibition is not big but worth seeing.

Fascinating museum that we went to the day after going to Akrotiri and so so saw the artifacts and wall paintings that were found at that site and referred to in the information boards around the site. Beautiful things, their homes must have been stunning - or at least those of the better off. The museum shows them off really well. Not huge - took us around an hour - but well worth seeing. Pu...

It was very interesting. The best part was seeing how modern day Santorini is influenced by prehistoric designs. Lots of information and takes around 1.5 hours to get through. Was €10 in April 2025 and the value was good for what we saw and experienced. Would definitely recommend to learn about history of island.
Arrive early in summer to beat the heat. The air-conditioned interior offers relief on hot afternoons. In off-season months, check opening hours online.
